We are literally accros the road from the Joburg zoo, and centrally located to explore all that Joburg has to offer.
The space
We offer 3, free standing, fully equipped, self catering cottages.
Each one named after an exquisite shade of blue.
AZURE COTTAGE sleeps 4 adults, in 2 ensuite bedrooms. Open plan lounge dinning kitchen. King size beds with luxury linen.
TURQUOISE STUDIO is upstairs and has the best view of the elephant enclosure of the zoo. The unit sleeps 2 adults, in a king size bed, topped with a hand embroidered turquoise throw. Kitchenette and full bathroom.
ROYAL BLUE SUITE is our most luxurious unit. Located away from the main house. It sleeps 2 in an enormous fourposter bed flanked by a large free standing bath on one side and a fire place on the other. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, open plan with the lounge, dinning room and office. The large patio is perfect for alfresco dinning.
The garden is large and tranquil. It has many secluded seating areas. It is easy to forget that you are in the city.

Gladys has lived in this house since birth.
10 years ago, she restored ed and updated it, to meet the needs of modern travellers.
New beds, luxury linen, modern appliances and amenities.
She is prolific artist. Her art is displayed in a nearby art gallery and adorns the walls of the guesthouse.

Each one has it own attractions.
Zoo lake is great for a picnic or boat ride.
